Registries
Ah, registering. What’s more romantic/awkward than picking out gifts for others to purchase for you. Since this is unfortunately necessary nowadays, we tried to stay with stores we like and things we think we would use. Thus, a lot of food things on here. If you have another store from which you’d prefer to shop (eg. “I have leftover giftcards from Bed, Bath, & Beyond” or “I think the Williams-Sonoma/Pottery Barn Corporation is killing the soul of America”) that’s fine too. Here’s what we did:
Macy’s – For luggage, housewares, flatware, etc.
West Elm – West Elm doesn’t have a registry but it’s a great store so we used their “Wishlist” functionality to register for “fine china when you live in an apartment” (aka everyday dishes) and fun home things.
Williams-Sonoma – For all the kitchen stuff we don’t have.
